Shorts Videos

Here are some useful recommendations and videos (some of the in Russian language)

Step 1: Watch my YouTube Channel – click here or copy to browser => @YuriGrin-New

Step 1.1: Start with shorts (videos) first.

✅ BEST EXPORT SETTINGS FOR YOUTUBE SHORTS

🎬 1. Aspect Ratio (MOST IMPORTANT)

  • 9:16 (Vertical)
  • Canvas size: 1080 × 1920

If it’s not vertical 9:16 → it won’t be a Short.

⏱ 2. Length

  • Under 60 seconds
  • Ideally 15–30 seconds for better retention

Even 60.1 sec = regular video.

📦 3. Format

  • MP4
  • Codec: H.264 (default in CapCut)

📊 4. Resolution

  • 1080p (recommended)
  • 720p also works
  • 4K not necessary for Shorts

Best: 1080×1920

🎚 5. Frame Rate

  • 30 fps (safe)
  • 60 fps (optional if you recorded in 60)

📈 6. Bitrate

  • 8–20 Mbps is perfect
  • Don’t overdo bitrate (wastes space)

Step 2: Start with AI (Artificial Intelegence) – Try ChatGPT here:🔗 https://chat.openai.com

Step 3: Open your own YouTube Channel – I will publish a video

Step 4: Open an account with ElevenLabs tp generate your scenarious from tect to speech –

For text-to-speech, it depends on speaking speed (calm, energetic, salesy):

  • 🐢 Slow pace (clear, dramatic): ~110–130 words per minute
  • 🎙 Normal pace (YouTube style): ~140–160 words per minute
  • ⚡ Fast pace (Shorts/Reels energy): ~160–180 words per minute

✅ For 20 seconds:

  • Normal pace: ~45–55 words
  • Faster Shorts pace: ~55–65 words

If you’re making YouTube Shorts, aim for 50–60 words to stay safe and natural.

Core Voice Settings (Good Starting Point)

SettingPurposeTypical Range
StabilityHow consistent and predictable the voice is~50% (balanced)
Similarity (Clarity)How close it sounds to the original voice~70–80%
Style ExaggerationAdds more personality/emotion0–20% (keep low unless needed)
SpeedHow fast the speech is1.0 (normal)
Tip: adjust speed slightly (0.9–1.1) depending on desired pace.

👉 Default values like stability ~50% and similarity ~75% are frequently recommended as a baseline.

Step 5: Train yourself how to make simple short videos from cellphone –
this just one sample (How I puchased a snowblower) I did at the beginning a short video –

Step 6: Find how apply effects to captions (some of them available for PRO only). Make caption move slowly, scroll up etc. Use different patterns, fonts, background etc.

✅ What You Can Do for Free

  • Basic text captions and overlays (manual text)
  • Basic animations and keyframe movement
  • Simple effects, transitions, and text styles

These are part of the free editing tools.

✅ If You’re Using Loop Animation → “Up”

  1. Select text
  2. Go to Animation → Loop → Up
