There are ONLY two ways that people fail in the quest
to make a reliable online income.
TRAP # 1 – STOP WORKING CONSISTENTLY
The first cause of failure to reach goals is that people just don’t work consistently
for long enough to get results. They QUIT.
Maybe they just quit for a week or a month. Maybe they quit permanently.
Either way, time keeps passing and they are not making any progress.
Accomplishing any long-term goal requires long-term effort.
You don’t get fit and healthy by doing 3 workouts.
You don’t make money online by working for 3 days.
Those who are successful are consistently working,
day after day … month after month … year after year.
They keep working on accomplishing the goals that are most important to them.
Make money online overnight (or in a month) is NOT REAL.
You have to put in daily effort for as many possible days in a row as you can.
When you do miss a day (as we all do), you get right back to work the next day.
However, just working hard is not the only answer.
Some people work hard for a long time and still don’t get the results they want.
That is because they fall into Trap # 2 …
TRAP # 2 – WORKING ON THE WRONG THINGS
Just being busy is not enough. You have to be following a plan
that actually works in today’s online environment.
Most beginners think that you can come online,
find a good program to promote, and then start making money.
That hasn’t worked in over a decade.
Those who make money promoting programs at those
who have already built an audience of people who know, like, and trust them.
That is how 99% of the money in promoting programs is earned. It is made by the few who already had an audience and a responsive email list. That is why you see the same names at the top of every program. They are the ones who built an audience FIRST.
Most people reject the idea that they have to build an audience before they will have reliable online income.
That is why most people fail. They keep trying to make money without a responsive email list.
They jump from program to program. They blame the programs. They blame the traffic. They blame the “gurus”.
They blame everything EXCEPT the real reason they failed.
They failed because they are trying to make money like it was 2006 instead of 2026.
Let me tell you about 2006 … because I was there (story by Matthew Graves). Making money was EASY. When I did a launch (like Top Tier Traffic) … I got 5,000 SIGNUPS A DAY! I made $50,000 from just that site launch in the first month. Every email I sent to my list brought in $2,000 – $5,000 in profit. (Matthew Graves). That is NOT 2026. People have less money to spend and they think a lot harder about every investment. They aren’t sending a stranger $500 because they had a good sales page.
You have to build trust … which you can only do after you have the person’s email address. When you have their email address, you can keep in touch and show them (over time) that you can be trusted.
